Chemicals and Pollutants in everywhere

Chemicals and pollutants are everywhere in our lives. Very often we don’t know it. We can’t see them. We can’t smell them. But there are things we can do to reduce their levels.
You should eat organic food. Organic food is produced without pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. These chemicals are potentially toxic and can cause cancer and other sicknesses.
Somtimes it’s difficult to find organic food. And they can a lot of money. But, if possible, you shouldn’t eat non organic carrots, lettuce, or bananas. These all contain extremely high levels of pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides. Our homes often contain more chemicals and pollutants than our streets. Most homes contain over 200 different chemicals. You should open windows at home. A house should have a complete air change every two hours. But in very big cities, you shouldn’t open the windows when pollution levels are high.

Our home contain millions of tiny insects called “mites”. These can cause allergies and respiratory problems. You should clean your house regularly and vacuum your carpets with a good vacuum cleaner.
